POSTPONED! Volver – Selected as NCC/NFA February Foreign Film – Feb 26, 2010

Due to bad weather, VOLVER will not be shown on February 27th. We have arranged a snow date for next Friday night. VOLVER will now be shown on Friday, March 5th.

Directed by Pedro Almodóvar. With Penélope Cruz, Carmen Maura, Lola Dueñas. After her death, a mother returns to her home town in order to fix the situations she couldn’t resolve during her life.

Where: The Ensemble Room in the Sidney Frank Center on the campus of the Norwich Free Academy (NFA).
When: Friday, February 26th at 7:00pm
Cost: $5 suggested donation per family

Local Short Film “Chasing Oz” Selected for August 8th

The Norwich Community Cinema is honored to show a short film by local Connecticut filmakers Joseph Truman and Rene Gagnon.
Chasing Oz” directed by Joseph Truman with screenplay by Rene Gagnon is a short film about the effects of war on those returning from the battlefield.
