Beautiful Boy is an unconventional love story that explores the journey of a married couple on the verge of separation who must live with unimaginable heartbreak, and find healing through the darkest days of their lives.

Bill (Michael Sheen) and Kate (Maria Bello) hopelessly try to find some hint of an explanation after finding out that their only son committed a mass shooting at his university before taking his own life. They struggle numbly through the funeral, the media onslaught, and the awkward pity from relatives and friends. Their already strained marriage is tested as they realize all they have left with each other is their shared grief and confusion—and the unfortunate legacy of their son. This life-altering event forces Bill and Kate to face their feelings of guilt, rage, blame, self-discovery, and ultimately hope – so that they can finally see each other and their chance for happiness again with clear eyes.

Running time is 101 minutes. Rated R for some language and a scene of sexuality.

Bride Flight Screens October 8th

Spanning over five decades, ‘Bride Flight’ is inspired by the true story of the 1953 “Last Great Air Race” London-Christchurch (NZ), and follows Esther (Anna Drijver), Ada (Karina Smulders) and Marjorie (Elise Schaap), three young women who, eager to escape post-WWII Holland, emigrate to New Zealand for what they hope will be a better life..

On the plane trip overseas — dubbed the “Bride Flight” — the three become fast friends and meet Frank, a dashing young man (played by Waldemar Torenstra and Rutger Hauer – in his later years) who will come to play a critical role in each of their lives. They all part ways on arrival in their new country as two of the women’s fiances await them — but their paths continue to cross in the years to come in life-altering ways.

Playing loose versions of themselves, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reprise their hilariously fictionalized roles from Tristam Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story and reunite with acclaimed director Michael Winterbottom for an acerbically witty, largely improvised ride through the English countryside. Tapped by The Observer to review fine restaurants throughout the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, Steve finds himself without a traveling companion after his girlfriend decides not to go at the last minute. After being turned down by everyone else he knows, Steve extends an invitation to Rob, and together the pair attempt to navigate the winding back roads of rural England, impersonating popular celebrities such as Michael Caine, Woody Allen and Liam Neeson (among many others) and bickering along the way.
